X (Twitter) gambling ads, 51 countries, read one by one.
X prohibits gambling ads everywhere outside the countries it names, and in each of those the advertiser gets certified first. In 21 entries X adds its own prior authorization, which starts with an X account team. This page reads X's own text as archived on 22 September 2026.

Every country X lists, and what it asks there.
X keeps brick-and-mortar casinos on a list of their own, closed everywhere except 44 named countries. The tables below hold X's country entries. Yes under prior authorization means X names it for at least one product in that entry. X's certification is X's own step, separate from Adtucon Certified.

On X, every gambling question starts with a country.

In the US, X wants a US advertiser.
X lists eleven kinds of gambling ad for the United States, from sports betting to digital lottery couriers, each one with restrictions. The restrictions start with where you are. The advertiser has to be domiciled in the US, the ads carry the right disclaimers, and X can add requirements at its sole discretion.
Tell us what you run in the US- No direct link to an operator's site
- No way to place a bet in the ad or on the landing
Where X lets affiliates and tips sites in.
X names affiliates in 16 of its 51 entries, and the rule comes in four shapes.
No licence needed, X's authorization needed.
The UK, France and Belgium. Denmark uses the same licence test without naming X's authorization. All four leave lottery aggregators out.
A licence of their own.
Ireland, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Kenya, Nigeria and Romania. Ireland also rules out free bet and bonus ads.
Named, with conditions.
The Czech Republic and Canada with X's prior authorization, Mexico with a SEGOB licence and prior authorization, the United States with the two rules above.
Closed.
Spain.
In the other entries X counts affiliates among the sites its gambling policy covers and says no more.
X has no public fee with us.
Gambling sits in our Regulated band on X. Your rate depends on vertical and volume. One message in chat gets you the number.
Top ups go through your manager until X joins the Adtucon Platform in early 2027, and you see where your balance went.
Ask for your X rate
The questions behind the country.
How do I get X's prior authorization?
X says it starts with being in touch with an X account team, and tells advertisers to file a support ticket when a market needs it. The request is the advertiser's, so it comes from your side. We go through the country entry with you first.
Can I advertise real-money games in India on X?
Not on the copy we read. X prohibits ads for online money games across India, skill or chance, and for gambling and betting too. Esports and online social games need a registration from the Online Gaming Authority of India, and X cites the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025.
Which French regulator does X want?
X's France entry names ARJEL. French gambling has been regulated by the Autorité nationale des jeux since June 2020, set up by an ordinance of 2 October 2019. Bring your ANJ licence and we'll check the wording with you before you apply.
Is a Gambling Commission licence enough for the UK?
It's the licence X names for online casinos, sports betting, bingo and lottery in the UK, on top of the certification every listed country needs. A licence from Malta, Gibraltar, the Isle of Man or another jurisdiction on X's list covers that jurisdiction only. Our UK page has the regulator's side.
Why does this page quote an archived copy?
Because the archive holds X's own page as it stood on 22 September 2026, and that copy has a date you can check. X's own log shows the list growing in June and October 2025, the second time for Ireland, Portugal and Romania, so the date matters.
Which of X's 51 entries is yours?
