AI in the name.
In 2026 GITEX Europe became GITEX AI Europe.
The organisers call it the largest enterprise tech event in Europe, for big tech, start-ups, investors and the public sector, with AI, cybersecurity, cloud and quantum on the floor.
Sovereignty and rules.
With backing from the European Commission and national digital agencies, the talks went to data sovereignty, cloud infrastructure and AI regulation.
The German trade press asked whether it could become the successor CeBIT never had.
