Running 100+ Ad Accounts: What Each Platform Caps First

The toucan presenting with an open wing

To run 100+ ad accounts, you need a business account on each platform that's allowed to hold them, enough people with the right access, billing that lets you add accounts at your pace, and one place to watch caps and balances.

Budget is rarely the first wall, because each platform caps something else first. Meta counts the people who manage accounts. Google looks at the spend under your manager account and at how you pay, and TikTok leaves it to the type of Business Center you opened.

We read the platforms' help pages for this guide on 4 November 2026. Limits change, so open the linked page before you plan a launch around a number.

Key takeaways
  1. On Meta the limit is the person, 25 ad accounts each, so 100 accounts need at least four people with access.
  2. A new Google manager account holds 50 active accounts until it has a month of $10,000 or more, and automatic or manual payments let you set up 15 accounts a week.
  3. TikTok doesn't publish its Business Center limit. Ask your TikTok contact before you plan around one.
  4. Many accounts are fine. Google names new accounts after a suspension, and violating ads spread across accounts, as abuse.

The limits, platform by platform

Do the sum on Meta first. At 25 ad accounts a person, 100 accounts need at least four people with access, more if two of them work the same accounts. When someone hits 25, the fix Meta gives is removing their access to accounts they no longer use.

On Google the number that matters is the spend under the top manager account. With no spend it starts at 50 active accounts. Once a month of $10,000 or more is counted at a review, the limit goes to 2,500 and holds for at least 12 months.

On TikTok, ask for the number before you plan on it. The help page only says the limit varies with the type of Business Center, and sends you to your TikTok account manager or to support.

Billing sets the pace

How you pay decides how fast you can add accounts, and Google shows it most clearly. On an automatic or manual payments profile you can set up no more than 15 accounts a week. On monthly invoicing the ceiling is 1,500.

Monthly invoicing isn't a switch. Among its requirements Google lists a year as a registered business, 6 months of good standing and spend of at least $5,000 in each of 3 months out of the last 12, and the account has to be linked to a manager account. Google then reviews your company's credit history before it offers terms and a credit line. Consolidated billing, which also needs a manager account, puts many accounts on one invoice.

Meta's first gate comes earlier and is smaller. A new business can create one ad account until it makes a confirmed payment.

On TikTok an agency that opens an account for a client fills in the client's company and billing details. After the first account for that client is approved, the verified legal entity certificate can be reused, and accounts created with it are approved automatically.

With agency ad accounts the business account and the billing are the provider's, so most of these gates are theirs to clear. Meta's limit on the person still applies to everyone on your team.

How many people do you need?

Fewer than you'd think, if each one has the right seat. All five separate the people who run campaigns from the people who manage users, and three of them, Meta, Google and TikTok, give money a role of its own.

  • Meta. Full access or partial access, with finance access added on top, and temporary access that expires on its own, somewhere between 3 and 75 days.
  • Google. Five access levels on a manager account, Billing among them. A client account has a single owner among the manager accounts.
  • TikTok. Admin and Standard, plus Finance Analyst and Finance Manager. An admin without a finance role can't see the money.
  • Snapchat. Organization roles and ad account roles, with an agency admin and an agency member among them.
  • X. Five permissions on each ads account, plus a post composer permission for whoever writes promoted-only posts.

A layout that holds up at 100 accounts puts buyers on campaign roles and one person on billing. Two people hold admin, so nobody is the only key. Freelancers get partial or temporary access.

Nobody shares a login. TikTok makes the point itself, a Business Center lets you grant and revoke access without anyone handing over a password.

Settings you pick once

Some choices can't be undone. At 100 accounts a wrong one repeats 100 times.

TikTok won't let you edit an ad account's time zone, region, business name or currency after it's created. On Meta the time zone also decides when a capped account comes back, since the daily spending limit starts again at 00:00 account time. And Google puts accounts on one consolidated invoice only when their currency matches.

Google asks for a separate account for each end-advertiser, since an account's history shapes its Quality Score and two advertisers in one account would blur both. So two clients never share an account, however tidy that looks.

Before the request, decide per account who the advertiser is, the market's time zone, the currency and the vertical. Then give it a name that carries all four, such as us-leadgen-gmt5-07, so it still reads in a list of 100.

In our panel a single request covers one time zone and one vertical, with the quantity on top.

When many accounts look like evasion

Running many accounts is normal for agencies and big advertisers, and Google built manager accounts for exactly that. What the platforms police is using accounts to get around them.

Google writes it down most plainly. Its circumventing systems policy names creating new accounts after a suspension to re-enter the system, putting violating ads on two or more accounts, and using several accounts to promote something you lack the certification for. Google treats these as egregious and suspends on detection, without prior warning.

Google's own advice under that policy works as a checklist for any team at scale. Avoid creating a lot of accounts in a short period. Connect each account to a real business. Give each one a trusted payment method. Get suspensions on connected accounts reinstated through appeal.

Google's limits page adds a warning about bulk work itself. Building large numbers of campaigns with few creatives each, or uploading large volumes across accounts, can get entities throttled or excluded.

If each account has its own advertiser, market or vertical, you can explain the structure in an appeal, which is what Google asks for. If they all exist because one offer keeps getting rejected, that's the pattern the policy describes, and a new account won't fix it.

Watching 100 accounts at once

At this size nobody opens 100 Ads Managers a day. Put a cap on every account, and get warned before the money runs out.

  • TikTok. Budget Manager sets a monthly, daily or one-time cap on each ad account from the Business Center, and changes it in bulk.
  • Meta. The ad account spending limit is a lifetime limit across every campaign in the account, and you reset it by hand.
  • Snapchat. The account spend cap overrides campaign caps.
  • Google. From a manager account, bulk edits, scripts, uploads and rules reach every account below it in one action.

Ad volume runs out too. TikTok gives each ad account a quota of active ad groups set by its top month of spend in the past 12 months, 50 under $1,500, 200 from $1,500 and 1,000 from $150,000. An account whose top month is under $1,500 stays at 50. Meta caps ads per Page by spend, which we covered in unlimited ad accounts.

Our panel handles the money side on Meta, Google and TikTok. Each account sits on a row with its spend cap, spend and what's left, a single amount can be sent to many rows at once, and the wallet tells you by when to send money. Compliance gives each account a health score and says what to do next. The Adtucon Platform is in early access with a first group of clients. It opens to every client, with every platform, in early 2027. Snapchat, X and Bigo aren't in it yet.

If you'd rather not build the business accounts yourself, agency ad accounts put the accounts in our business and the campaigns in yours. Send us your platforms and how many accounts you need, and you hear back from a person with what fits. The words used here are defined in our glossary.

Frequently asked questions

Do closed ad accounts free up room?

Not on Meta, where a closed ad account still counts toward your limit. On Google, canceled accounts stop counting toward the active limit, though they can still show in your total until Google has processed them.

Do accounts a provider shares with me count toward Meta's 25?

Meta's limit is on the person. One person can manage up to 25 ad accounts, and the page we read makes no exception for accounts shared from another business. Plan the seats on your side with that in mind.

How does a new manager account get past 50 accounts?

With spend. Google reviews the limit regularly, and a month of $10,000 or more across your client accounts lifts it to 2,500 for at least 12 months. With no spend at all it stays at 50.

Does TikTok business verification have to be done account by account?

No. One verification at Business Center level passes down to every ad account below it. It becomes mandatory once spend passes the threshold for your market.
